…Just wanted to say a huge thank you to you both and Starwood for your very generous support and sponsorship of the Cricket Kabul Cup featuring Ditchling and the national Afghanistan team. Both legs of our journey and experience at the hotels was amazing. Having stayed with you in January I knew I could recommend the hotels in confidence, but I have to say that you by far exceeded all our expectations. The organisation of your front of house teams through to the personal touches we received were wonderful. I can't praise your teams enough.
As I am sure you are aware the purpose of our Cricket match was to bring a good news story out of Afghanistan and with your help we certainly did that. The sheer joy we received from all that we met along the way from the players, officials and general public ensured we could not fail. The cricket match was only part of our time spent in Kabul and were also able to deliver a significant amount of clothing and sporting equipment to an orphanage and a local school… – D.Worrall
